Standard Disk File Overwrite Mechanism
Section titled “Standard Disk File Overwrite Mechanism”AI Alert Attachments (AS Directory)
Section titled “AI Alert Attachments (AS Directory)”- Each disk is processed separately;
- A check for the maximum number of files is performed every 10 minutes; if the limit (3,600 files) is exceeded, the oldest files exceeding the limit are overwritten;
- A check for remaining disk space is performed every minute; if disk space falls below 200 MB, the oldest files from the past 30 minutes are deleted in a single operation;
- At least 20 files must be retained and cannot be deleted;
Snapshot Images (picture directory)
Section titled “Snapshot Images (picture directory)”- Each disk is processed separately;
- Images subject to overwriting include those captured via alarm triggers, scheduled snapshots, etc.;
- Checks for expiration (menu parameter) every 10 minutes; the unit is days. When expired, deletes all images from that day in one go;
- Check available disk space every 1 minute; when disk space falls below 200 MB:
- Delete the oldest files from the past hour at a time:
- If only files from the most recent hour remain, delete a maximum of 4 sets of files at a time, retaining at least 2 sets;
- Retain at least one hour’s worth of images;
Alarm Recording Protection Files (REC-ALARM directory)
Section titled “Alarm Recording Protection Files (REC-ALARM directory)”- Process each disk separately;
- Check for expiration (menu parameter) every 10 minutes, measured in days; when expired, delete all files from that day in one go;
- Check available disk space every 1 minute; when disk space falls below 200 MB:
- Delete files from the oldest day at a time:
- If only files from the most recent day remain, delete a maximum of 4 sets of files at a time, retaining at least 2 sets;
- Files from at least 1 day must be retained and cannot be deleted;
Log Files (debug directory)
Section titled “Log Files (debug directory)”- Process each disk separately;
- Check for expiration (90 days) every 10 minutes (in days); when expired, delete all files for that day in one go;
- Check available disk space every minute; when disk space falls below 200 MB, delete one oldest file at a time;
- At least one file must be retained and cannot be deleted;
- For log files on flash storage media, when a recording disk is available (and disk space exceeds 200 MB), move all files to the standard partition on the recording disk; do not delete files from the flash storage;
- When flash storage space falls below 20% (for flash storage media), perform an expiration check and delete files; if space remains below 20%, continue deleting the oldest file one at a time;
Collision Alarm Cache Video Files (AlarmRecCache2Disk directory)
Section titled “Collision Alarm Cache Video Files (AlarmRecCache2Disk directory)”- Emergency alarm videos are 10-second clips stored in the internal flash;
- When a recording disk is present, move the short clips to the standard partition on the recording disk and delete the files from the flash memory;
- When a USB drive is inserted, export the short clips from the flash memory or recording disk to the USB drive;
- When the flash storage space is less than 20% (flash storage medium), delete the oldest file at a time;
- Check remaining disk space every minute (recording disk); when disk space falls below 200 MB, delete the oldest file one at a time;
- At least two files must be retained and cannot be deleted;
Deletion Mechanisms for Different File Types
Section titled “Deletion Mechanisms for Different File Types”- When disk space exceeds 200 MB, files are overwritten according to their respective overwrite mechanisms;
- When disk space is less than 200 MB, files of each type are overwritten in rotation: AI files delete one half-hour file at a time, image files delete one 1-day or 1-hour file at a time, protected alarm video files delete one 1-day or several sets of files at a time, log files delete one file at a time, and collision/emergency alarm cache files delete one file at a time;
